  • The roles and duties of the various figures (Housekeepers, Waiters, Porters. Wardens).
  • Operating Standards and Procedures (Room Cleaning, Couverture Service, Common Space Cleaning, Service Space Cleaning)
  • Check lists or checklists
  • Organizing Work Shifts
  • Cleaning Techniques
  • Disinfection and sanitization of the Wellness Center

The Housekeeping Basics course provides a comprehensive overview of how the housekeeping department operates within a hotel. Students will learn the roles and responsibilities of key staff, the importance of an ethical code of conduct, and standard operating procedures to ensure impeccable cleaning of rooms and common areas.

Practical aspects such as shift organization, the use of checklists, and disinfection and sanitation techniques will be covered. Additionally, the course will address wardrobe management and Lost & Found procedures, preparing participants for a successful career in hospitality.
