The Master’s degree in Economic Sciences: Economics, Digital Data Analysis, Public Administration aims to train economists and managers with a solid education, capable of addressing the challenges of Digital Transformation in public and private organizations, both nationally and internationally. Specifically, the program’s goal is to provide students with advanced and multidisciplinary knowledge in economic theory and its applications, through a core curriculum of courses in economics, mathematical statistics, law, and business, essential for the two proposed tracks.

Educational Objectives

The training offered by the Degree in Economic Sciences aims to provide graduates with a broad set of skills and competencies to tackle contemporary economic challenges. Specifically, it equips them to:

  • First and foremost, develop a critical and historical perspective of economic systems, their organization, evolution, and functioning across various configurations and situations;
  • Additionally, design and conduct independent analyses of issues related to economic systems, decisions made by individual or collective operators, and the resulting interactions;
  • Furthermore, engage with and critically evaluate theoretical and applied analyses at a specialized level;
  • Moreover, address and resolve complex accounting issues in businesses, public companies, and other organizations;
  • Finally, propose and implement viable solutions to identified problems.

This diverse skill set enables graduates to build a versatile and solid foundation, preparing them for both professional and academic pursuits.

The Degree in Economic Sciences also offers a comprehensive education that integrates innovative tools for interpreting and managing economic dynamics at the macro, meso, and micro levels. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Access to the course is open to graduates in Tourism Sciences, Administration and Organization Sciences, Economics and Business Management Sciences, and Economic Sciences. Additionally, holders of degrees obtained abroad may be admitted, provided they are recognized in Italy as equivalent to those mentioned above. Alternatively, access is allowed for graduates from other degree classes, provided they have acquired a total of 30 CFU in the following scientific-disciplinary sectors through curricular integration:
• Business area, in SSD SECS-P07 and/or SECS-P08 and/or SECS-P11;
• Economic discipline, in SSD SECS-P01 and/or SECS-P02 and/or SECS-P06 and/or SECS-P12;
• Mathematical-statistical area, in SSD SECS-S01 and/or SECS-S03 and/or SECS-S06;
• Legal field, in SSD IUS/04 and/or IUS/10 and/or IUS/13.
